Prof. Sanders is a terrific teacher, and she is also one of the friendlyst people you'll ever meet Her enthusiasm for the subject is contagious. I'm not a science person, but she made the class fascinating and fun; and it was also well structured, with lab exercises that were really accommodating for understanding the material. Strongly recommended. |

Dr Sanders is outstanding! I'm such a nonscience person and she made the content simple to understand, clear and fun. She has a great attitude, seems to be in great mood all the time, she complements you and takes interest in you. I absolutely recommend her courses. I've never excelled at science courses, so am always leary of them, but Dr. Sanders put my mind at ease. She presents things very clearly and knows a great deal of information. If you study and apply yourself, Dr. Sanders will ensure you get the grade you deserve. She's also about as friendly of a person as you'll ever meet. |

Laura is a wonderful, knowledgable, hillarious, and emphathetic woman. I can't recommend her enough. She makes subject matter fun and fascinating even for people who aren't science majors. I went through some major life traumas while taking her class and she went above and beyond to make sure I passed. Love her!!! |

Great prof. who really knows her area of expertise. Does not give out too much written homework, however, I recommend going over your notes daily so that you are not overwhelmed for the unit exams. Attend every class period and ask for clarification if you are unsure about something. She's patient & knowledgable. I REALLY RECOMMEND HER! |

She is an outstanding prof. but I must warn in advance she can be a bit tough at times. However, she is very understanding and simple to follow. Attendance is not exactly "mandatory," you can get away w/ more then the traditional "3 days" rule at NEIU. |

Since this was a freshman experience class, it was very simple. There were 3 required field trips but they were fun! Do not get the college sucess book because it is not used at all and it is a waist of money, the chapters were assigned but not discussed at all. There were 3 exams and around 4 homework projects. Definately would recommend this cla |
