Great prof., definitely knows what he is teaching and is very interested and passionate about what he teaches. Have him for 2 courses and I would take him again. Uses scenarios that keep you interested, just be sure to read the material and pay attention in class and take notes. gives exam questions in advance and then picks a few from there
Very knowledgeable and approachable. I learned a lot about how gov't works and I'm more motivated to vote now. He needs a new wardrobe, though, cause his clothes don't fit, which takes from his credibility.
I'm not a fan of poly-sci, but he made it fascinating with a focus on how things really work rather than "the constitution bla bla bla". He's not simple, but not that difficult either. You MUST go to class and take great notes. If there is something you missed or don't understand he's happy to meet with you and go over things.
If you like to write and read a lot, this is the indicate teacher. His Exams are 5 to 7 mini papers, plus multiple choice, plus 1 or 2 one page essay. You have to read a lot and study a lot, but you will learn a lot. I recommend this teacher for people you really love political science, if you want to pass this course, FOR GET IT!!!
He was a very difficult teacher. The subject itself is in depth but he does not make it fascinating at all very dull and he seems to love paying attention to the guys that volunteer. The mid year exam was okay but the final was difficult short answer papers which he looks for a lot of description or you get the whole thing wrong. terrible.
He was very precise about topics he discussed. However, his class gets real annoying because he picks favorites and then every class after that all he does is look to them for answers. His exams are pretty difficult he puts a lot of material on there. I would NOT recommend him at all.
Very accommodating and always does his job and extra. Quite tough but overall a great guy and great teacher. |
