She is very friendly. But having said that her class is dull, courses are read out of the book. If you have the book there is no reason to come to class. Other than to drop off projects and pick up handouts. She doesn't provide feedback any on why points are deducted, which is very frustrating and makes it difficult to understand how to improve.
I don't understand why so many people are against her. She teaches 300 level courses and knows her things. Since having her for many courses, she will make you do the work (writing papers and exams). Her grading scale is impartial and she is friendly. She also wants us to participate in discussions and do articles. Exams are from her slides. Attendance!
This is the WORST prof. I've ever had. Avoid this old woman like the plague. She has no idea what she's talking about. It would be more enjoyable to have a few teeth extracted without anesthetic than attending her class. Was to ignorant to correct mistakes, when asked to clarify during office hours. STAY AWAY!!! You will regret it if you don't.
Ambushes class w/ surprise extra projects/projects. Has unrealistic expectations of students (expected class to know C++ though school teaches in and textbook was Java). Does not even grade projects well or timely. courses are remedial, while exams are vague and uncomprehensible. Nearly refuses to give A's.
Bad news folks; she IS THE WORST prof. at NEIU. AVOID her at all cost or you will repent. you want to ruin your GPA; don't want to learn anything, get out of class with confused mind, want to waste time and your difficult earned money; want to exam your temper ... you got a choice! (this is true for all her CS courses) |
