I was born in Chicago, IL and due to my parent's divorce, ended up being raised in southern Spain, in Fuengirola, (Malaga). Although I've known for a long time that my first language was English, I've never remembered when I "didn't" know Spanish. Culturally speaking, it's always been like I had a foot in both countries.
