University of Melbourne is recognized by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations, Australia. It is also affiliated with the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD-EQUIS). Choose from thousands of available subjects in Business, Education, Humanities & Social Sciences, Law, Applied and Environmental Sciences, Health Sciences, Engineering, and Technology to name a few. Additionally, University of Melbourne's Victorian College of the Arts offers elite classes in performing arts, and its Asian Institute brings together expertise in politics, anthropology, economics, linguistics, history, religion and society across a number of Asian countries and the Middle East, including Islamic studies.
Established in 1964, La Trobe University is one of Australia's fastest growing universities. Students at La Trobe can select from a wide range of subjects in which to study with the university's five faculties in Humanities, Social Sciences, Media, Communications, Business, Law, Science, Technology, Engineering, Health Sciences and Education. La Trobe has excellent research opportunities as well, due in part to the industry linkages that have been formed, and include over 30 University and faculty-based research centers and institutes.
