I had Zajicek for 3 courses, and I liked all of them. I have never ranked anyone before, but I found this guy to be a great prof., so I feel the need to defend him from the negative reviews. One caveat. If you are stupid and lazy, don't take his courses. If you are willing to work difficult, the experience in Zajiceks class will be very positive
Prof.Zajicek's class is very intersting, especially if you are interested in European History. There were a lot of students in my class that had a difficult time, but when you don't know what a serf is in a three hundred level European History class, you should not be there.
He was the worst HIS teacher I had at NEIU. He seemed more concerned with his move to Baltimore (great luck students in Balto!). He was all over the place with course content. His courses were vacuous and dull. I expected timelines and got NONE. His paper grading system was wacky! Very difficult to get decent grades w/papers. you get NO HELP w/him.
Awful. This guy was all over the place, both lecture wise and in his life, which he'll let you know about. Very unclear about projects. Unable to adapt his lecture and projects to the students work levels. rough grader with useless comments for rewrites.
He is a terrible teacher and is very uncaring towards students. His papers were ridicously difficult as well. I am shocked that the school allowed him to teach.
His courses are so dull and projects are difficult. There is a mid year exam and final, both are short answer. He will give a study guide with 30 questions and he will choose 10 of them. Seems like an simple prof., but a really difficult grader |
