great prof.. Straight to the point. impartial with the class. Very logical. Pretty great jokes for the logical mind. Definitely recommend.
Dr. Thomas is a teacher other teachers should aspire to. He is a professional. He is knowledgeable on the subject, clear on his requirements, very organized and very impartial. If you come to class, stay for the whole lecture (not just run out the door after the weekly quiz), and review the lecture notes before exams, you will pass.
he teaches evolution and history of life. Both courses need a lot of memorization. History of life was random names without anything to do with science. If you can memorize random information then subject might be simple. The exams are little tricky, so read questions twice. He keeps exams very similar to sample exam, but little twist in words.
Had him for Aging & Evolution. Very intelligent, organized and detail-oriented. Doesn't have PPT; gives you printed notes. Exams are difficult, based on the notes + "thinking" questions. A lot of homework. Overall, you'll have to work difficult for a B, not to mention an A.
great teacher, a lot of memorizing required..
Dr. Thomas is the smarexam prof. I've ever had. It IS true that he isn't the great at presenting the material, Cell Biology presents more material than any other class. If you actually study, attend class and attend labs, you will do fine. If you skip class and don't study, you WILL fail. Cheers Dr. Thomas! P.S. I think your jokes are hillarious. |
