I'm only a few weeks in, and haven't taken any other American professor, so I don't have much of a 'control'. However, this professor is way nicer than the professors I've had at my school back home. He has already gone above and beyond what (in my experience) a regular prof would do- 1/3 of the class didn't do their first assignment and quiz. He gave an extension to the entire class! He also seems really passionate about what he teaches and makes complex ideas palatable to us non-bio majors. |

I avoided taking his class because of some of the ratings but I was wrong. He is difficult but so is the subject matter but he's very passionate about and will help you if you need it. |

Amazing Educator, his passion alone is reason enough to attend this class. All the individuals complaining about courses must be either lazy or in need of remidial courses. He simplifies very complicated material and will explain over and over until you understand, he loves when students get involved. |

I would advise people to avoid this class if your GPA matters to you. This prof. is not simple and shows no concern for the fact that your not a bio major nor that you have other courses besides his. He will never give you answers, expects you to think in scientific theory. Also he says attendance doesn't matter and it does. Be careful. |

This guy is way too analytical for me. Spends 4 weeks on ONE CHAPTER. He doesn't focus on the core concepts and is way too in depth to the point where you get lost. I lost interest quickly, considering his courses are so repetitive and unfascinating. Takes forever to grade completion projects. I'm hoping to pass with a "C". |
