Don't ever take his class, he makes his class fun but that doesn't mean anything, a tough grader and he's not accommodating at all when you need him. Other people think that he's a great prof., probably he makes the class fun. You'll definetly have fun but you won't receive a great grade. Don't ever take his class, if you do, you'll be sorry |

Pretty chill but he picks favorites way too quickly and keeps it that way, I worked pretty difficult in his class but I didn't get the grade i deserved because it felt like i had to do everything his way or it was the highway, which is friendly of unimpartial. |

Ross is a great teacher in the beginning. He's hillarious BUT loves to talk a lot about irrelevant things. I remember him talking about different types of chairs in a 50min class. Like I never learned anything unless it was from the book. He favors students quickly, I felt like the class was made of 6 people although there was 30 of us. Papers are simple. |

If you do the work ( 1 essay, mid year exam & final) you'll be fine. He is a friendly guy BUT honestly, as much as he says he's open minded - he's not. Also, he's quick to favor students and likes guys better. I participated all the time, did great on the work and still didn't get the grade I wanted. Attendence is not taken. simple class. |

Mr. Ross seems like a decent teacher in the beginning, however, soon he will pick favorites in the class and only acknowledge those students through the semester. He made a few remarks letting our class know we weren't "University of Chicago" students and he should remember that. Very rude. |
