The class I took with him was a hybrid class with one day in class and everything else being posted on discussion boards. He helped out with feedback on our boards and actively participated with the students. Very accommodating with papers but can be a little dull at times, either way he would be the prof. I would pick for another English class.
Love his teaching style. Nothing is unexpected. If you seem to be falling behind, just talk to him and he will help you out.
Brian is the great prof. I've had so far. He's a impartial grader, and I always get papers returned with VERY accommodating criticism. His courses are very detailed. He knows his things!
He was a chill guy but rough grader. He wants us to do well on each paper but grades really roughly. I would suggest for people to pick a different prof. but if you have already picked him, TAKE ADVANTAGE OF HIS OFFICE HOURS. He gives great feedback on what to put in your paper!
What a weirdo... i was a little unimpressed, he seems like a great prof. but he is very picky in writing. He wants us to do well but he often grades us too roughly. He is also very hyper and jumpy when he courses and that stressed out the class sometime. I received a C in that class thanks to him my gpa went down. Pick another prof. =/
Very worthwhile class from a very great teacher. Very accommodating and class discussions were great.
Hes not simple at all and he is a VERY tough grader, almost everyone in my class has been getting C's and D'c on the papers. You can think what you want, if you write about something he disagrees with then there goes your possibality of getting a great grade. I suggest not taking this class, esp. if its just for a ged ed. |
