If at all possible, avoid this professor.
Everything he says is written in the text book. He exams on small unimportant detail which makes exams difficult. Agree with him when he asks for your opinion. If he wasn't teaching this class, someone else would be saying the same things as him. He fills space.
The prof.'s methods are very traditional and strict. The problem lies in the way he expects you to attend courses for dull courses - he reads off the powerpoint that's available on blackboard, so there's almost no point in showing up to class. This is a teacher that does not hand out A's. You'll learn to memorize facts from the text to pass.
He ain't terrible. I thought I was going to fail, but I didn't drop the class and got through it somehow with an A! You shouldn't be rating him with your 1st impression, it takes an entire semester to prove that he is a great prof.. You'll learn a lot. Just read, be prepared, and don't slack off.
He gave all the notes but the exams were tough. You need to read things to pass. Overall, I learned a lot from the class. :)
Terrible!!!! | |
The exams are difficult even though he explains what will be on the exam. You really need to read the book and study the handouts in order to pass. |
