This teacher was weird. He starts off the semester very friendly and accommodating and ends it being very angry and annoyed. You have to study a lot in this class for any teacher you take, but this teacher will teach you a set of problems and put something completely different on the exams. BE CAREFUL!
This is a difficult class but the prof takes baby steps which really helps. Do all of the homework, do well on the tests every week and that will help get extra points in case you don't do as great on the exams. He is accommodating and answers questions. Dont miss courses or you will miss a lot. He uses the 13th ed book but the 12th is exactly the same.
Very great teacher.Couple recomendation about his class: 1. Do the homework, 2.Study for the quizes(quiz every week). 3. DON'T MISS ANY CLASS, YOU WILL BE REGREAT IT. 4.If you don't have at least a B in this class with him, you are a Stu.... !!!!
Great prof., you will do fine as you put in a decent amount of effort.
Becareful with this teacher. His examples on class are simple and everything goes fine until the exams. His exams are totally different that his examples. He will try that you study a lot (10 questions, 4 simple, 3 medium, 2 difficult and 1 extra difficult). The class average is always a D, and if you want to have an A or B, you must to practice every day.
That's right, If you want to have an "A" with Messar you have to study from 3 different books (that's what I did, and I got an A). The first exam is very difficult, the second and third are quit simple. The tests are simple and difficult, depending how is going the entiry class. I will take MNGT 379 this semester and I know that will be difficult to have an A.
This prof. is outstanding... Took him for 368 and 377 and am taking him again for 379. he does require you to study, and if you are looking for an simple A, this is the WRONG teacher to take. Other wise, u only have two or 3 exams, and all homeworks and cases are 10 points each. I got an simple A on my paper.
I actually liked this guy. The homework projects can be a little over the top at times, but it really helps you to learn the material. My major gripe is that his tests seem a little thrown together and he gives them the last five minutes of courses, which made me feel very rushed. Great lecturer and makes the information impartially fascinating.
Pass on this guy because his exams and tests are difficult. I am an A student and I wouldn?t even recommend this prof. even if my life depended on it. This fck will tell you to study particular problems for the exam but you will find different problems on the actual exam. Homework problems are also completely different from the exam.
Makes introductory level material much difficulter than its suppose to be. Also, assigns homework problems that are not even on exams and gives sht loads of homework and computer projects. This is one prof. to avoid unless you want your semester to be hell.
prof. Messar is great, i dont know what the people are expecting. He explains everything very clear, wants you to understand and is always open to questions. You do have to study difficult for this class, but if you try and spend time on homework and practice the problems you will succed. He is accommodatingl and wont fail you if he sees you are trying. |
