Great Teacher. Lets you speak your mind in writing and with many outstanding group discussions. There is a decent amount of writing for this class, but the subject matter is fascinating. Oh, and he backed us cookies for our group final! |

If you need an A, take this class. There are three papers, all of which you have to watch a movie and then talk about it. The class was friendlya dull but I used my laptop. I would recommend going to class though, it'll help stay on track. The mid year exam was a group exam and the final was optional. He is so laid back, it would be difficult not to get an A. |

I am very glad I took Prof. Kois. His simple grading and abundant patience with terrible students will make great ones feel cheated, but I still found myself looking forward to this class. I really enjoyed his use of supplemental material. It is, after all, a media class. |

prof. Kois is a very friendly person. Class was very dull. A lot of writing to do, final and mid year exam are not mandatory. You NEED to be there in order to write your paper, but he does not require it. Most people left after he put movie on :( Very friendly man. |
