prof. Gutierrez is a great prof.. Most students say she is very difficult, but this is not the truth. She cares about her students and if you are willing to put in some effort into the projects then you will absolutely do well in the class. She grades everything with a rubric so that it's impartial for everyone. Lots of group projects. |

She is really terrible at teaching, but the class was simple so it was not that bad. She grades like a lunatic and will take points off for anything that is not correct. exams and quiz's were not that bad. I got a C with minimal effort. |

Very decent person (accommodating, human). Totally enjoyed her courses (many real world examples). Exams covered too many chapters (could have broken them up a bit more). But her class is definitely recommended. I'd take any other class she is teaching. |

i don't know.... I feel like i have done a lot in her class, but looking back, I have not learned much. There is a lot of class discussion and engagement, and she doesn't really teach. She is friendly, but tries to make it unnecessarily tough! The final was impossible to finish within the time, so beware! Class is more like a networking or discussion! |

It's not an simple class, required a lot of time spending on too many projects. The prof.'s grading system is also tough, which would be mentioned on the first day of the class by the prof. so don't be surprised. You probably get a first quiz on the first day of class and yes, it's counted. Definitely have to work difficult to earn a great grade in |

Very disorganized. Does not grade the projects on time, so you practically do not know where you are standing till the last moment. Difficult projects with not always clear instructions. A lot of work by yourself:)) |

exams are extremly difficult, you have to memorize the book, above that you have to spend at least 12 hours per week on extremly difficult, useless projects, ....instructions are not clear, you will never see your grade for any project, avoid if you can |

Dr. Gutierrez is very accommodating she is the great teacher I ever have had. First of all, she is Human and she doesn't make the differences among us. Class is difficult but its worth it!!!! |
