not a bad prof. at all she has a heavy accent but you can still make out what she is trying to say. Must go to class because alot of random facts she talks about in class are on the exams. exams are open note helps out alot especially if you have great book and class notes. Overall not bad I would recommend this teacher for sure |

She is a very great prof....comes off a little scary but if you talk to her she helps you out! Open book/notes exams and a presentation. Still need to read the material because exam questions are not obvious! |

I did enjoy this class. Took it in Summer. A LOT of reading! So make sure you have time to complete it. Had exams and 1 research paper to write. impartial grader. Expects you to learn. She's approachable and friendly. But she does take her courses seriously and does not appreciate talking or messing around during class. She knows her topics well!! |

May come off a bit intimidating at first with her accent, but she is very friendly and simple going. She is a very intelligent women, and impartially simple grader. Just go to class, do the readings and take notes on the readings, and participate once in a while. 2 Exams, one paper, and one presentation. |

The books are not difficult to understand. You can use your notes during exam. She uses media to help facilitate learning. She's the great sociology instructor I have ever had. |

Very fascinating class. She talks a lot about gender inequality. Open-notes (not book) exams. Most of students get B`s, but there is room for A`s. Attendance is mandatory! |

Really simple class if you just show up. You really need the book though because all exams are open note. You also only do group discussions and one project at the end. Galary is pretty intelligent when it comes to Soc. but great luck arguing a point or opinion against hers, it won't end well. She's very opinionated and she'll let you know what she thinks. |
