Great Class!!! I had absolutely no excitement to take this class but ended up loving it! If you listen in class and take great notes, then you will be fine. He is goofy and makes class tolerable. You have map tests, two exams, and a book report. Not difficult at all. You have to try a little to get a B. It was fun as a summer class. |

A very friendly and goofy guy. I love East Asia and wanted to learn more, which I did. The class is simple if you take his notes. I am sure you'd enjoy his class very much if you take it. He'll make you laugh. |

Dr. Eisenberg took a dreadfully dull subject - Premodern China - and made it bearable. His courses were very informative and he was always focused in class. Two papers based on the textbooks and a mid year exam and final. mid year exam and final were straight from his courses. Very impartial grading. Highly recommeded - I'd take another class with him! |

great TEACHER EVER! he is super simple its on you if you decided not to do well, simple mid year exam, simple paper, simple final and your down. he makes jokes through out the class. he never uses the book. he has sloppy writing but its understandable. TAKE HIM YOU'LL LOVE HIM! |
