Liked the class. Got friendlya dull sometimes but overall he was a great teacher and definitely knows his things. Taking notes is very important! that helped me pass the class. The exams aren't so bad because everything is in the notes. Didn't really like the field trips. They were too long! 5 hours to do 1 assignment! |

Basically I was having a emotional breakdown due to family illness and he took me aside and told me to suck it up. I have never experienced such an uncompassionate teacher in my life. If we can't look to our teachers, then who? It turns into a assembly line. |

Don't dislike on prof. Easterday. He loves his job and is willing to help you if you need it. Admittedly ALOT of work and his exams are a bit crazy, but come to class, show some interest and do the work and you will be fine and you might actually learn something about science.:-) |

STAY AWAYYY!!!u will fail unless its your only class war...if u are ES major i guess he is ok but if u r taking this class to cover ur GenEd RUNNNNNN!!! |

He thinks his gen ed courses are full of people love science and are becoming science majors. courses are very dull and long. He can talk for 5 hours straight. Gives a ton of work and does not give you a study guide. He is also not clear on what will be on the exam. Do not take him unless you love science as much as he does. |

AMAZING TEACHER! for eeryone who says he is the worst teacher ever is completely wrong. You robably didn't show up for class and didn't do the homework or studied for exams or asked for help....he is willing to give help whenever you need it and the tutors are great... the tessts re simple because they are straight from the lecture notes he gives.. |
