I didn't pass the class but this was my own fault, I have 2 jobs and 2 kids but she is a great prof.. She explains the subject well, homework is similar to exam, points are totaled with 3 exams and homework. Do well on the homework and it will help a lot; she also gives extra credit and curves exams if needed. |

Ring Chen is one of the great prof.s at NEIU. Very knowledgeable and very clear. She gives the great notes ever, so book material becomes to make sense. Exams are difficult but impartial. The great strategy to get an A is to study difficult her notes and try to do all the homework. It is seems impossible in the beginning, but once u catch up, it becomes easier. |

I know I'm in the minority but I didn't feel like this class was impossible. Seriously, be glad that she didn't teach straight from the book because it looked a lot worse than what we were learning in class. exams were her notes. Just go over them well and u will be fine. |

Class is friendly of difficult. Make sure you understand everything she talks about in class. She doesn't really use the textbook and I would concentrate on taking great notes in class. |

her exams are based on her handouts and her notes. grades are based on only 3 exams of equal weight which is y a lot of students are unsimple even with a curve. just go over those 2 things to make sense of what your doing and your be ok. dont be cocky, first exam was so simple but a lot of people didnt do so well. |

Not a very difficult class, requires a 15 page paper at the end of the semester and lots of student presentation. You can probably get away with an older edition of the textbook for the course, the two exams are mostly based off of presentations. |

Worst accounting teacher she makes the class so difficult. Be prepaired to over study to maybe get a B. She is not clear and reads from her slides. You better read the text on your own if you wish to pass. |
