He LOVES to talk; a true lecture course. Your are expected to read the assigned 4 books. Take home projects are lengthy/difficult & worth very little, sadly. Always keeps you over the class time. Assigns way too much at the end of the semester. mid year exam was tricky. Yes you'll get spring break HW due upon returning. Too much for a full load. |

I am not an environmental studies major, I took his 300-level class and found it incredibly simple. You do not really need the books, just follow courses and bring in some articles. I think he is simple to understand, no problems with the accent. I would recommend him. |

Abhijit is a great prof.. I learned an incredible amount about Environmental Policy in his courses. He is not simple but he is very impartial and lays out everything that he expects you to do. |

Very knowledgeable about what he is teaching, takes a little time to warm up to him but in the end I ended up liking him. At first he comes off as if he is going to be very difficult, but if you complete your homework and pay attention in class you will get an A. I will and have taken additional courses from him. |
