AWFUL, dull. Expects us 2 sit around coffeeshops & discuss Marx. Teaches like were Grad students. Grades super difficult. Dropped class 2 take at another school because it's MANDATORY 4 SOC majors & he's the only one teaching it. courses are difficult to follow & dont translate. Very arrogant and pompus. My advise..take someone else before u hit 90 hrs! |

I love Armato! You can't just slip by in his courses but he keeps it fun and fascinating. DO the work and participate because he's watching. Seriously he knows each and every one of his students' strengths and weaknesses. |

A wonderful prof. and person. Loves his students and is willing to work with them to ensure their success. He is the great prof. in the Sociology department. Take him if you have the opportunity. He will enlighten you as well as keep you entertained!!!! |

I've taken every class i can with him, he is a great teacher and if you are struggling with him in class then go see him during office hours and he will help you out a lot. great teacher. |

Absolutely great prof.. Highly recommended. lots of reading,2 take home exams, 1 analysis paper. The subject was well taught& very fascinating. He expects students to not only learn but to apply it. Very friendly and knowledgeable on the subject. He's open to talking outside of class and is very simple-going. This class can be challenging. |

Dr. Armato will definitely make things fascinating for you. He does not require you be in class, but it is very accommodating to attend and listen to discussions in order to understand the content more clearly. I have always been interested in Sociology, but have never understood things so clearly before taking this class. TAKE THIS INSTRUCTOR! |

Mike is the great teacher I have had in the soc major. He cares for his students, and wants you to do well. I got in trouble for playgerism, and instead of being failed and forced to drop the class, mike allowed me to stay as long as I worked difficult for it. By rights I should have been failed, but he is impartial, and a wonderful understanding person. |
