Worst professor I have ever taken. There no thing as curving in this class. By the 2nd exam there was already 18 drops. His test are impossible to finish. If you are full time and you work, you won't have enough time to pass his class. Avoid this. |

You definitely have to study difficult. He is a very friendly prof.. The class could be a bit dull, but it all depends on your level of participation. Have to do and understand the homeworks well. Exams include half in multiple choice format and the rest are computational problems. |

prof. Afifi is not as bad as I thought he would be. He's friendlya dry and dull.If you read the book and do the hw, you should be able to pass. I think the problems on the exams are easier and more straight forward than the problems from the hw. His in class tests are simple, exams are half conceptual(multiple choice) and half quantitative |

AVOID HIM!! difficulexam class ever!! everyone told me not 2 take him, i didn't listen- i failed... by 12 points!! another girl failed by 1 point!! he doesn't care. he IS a friendly GUY, but a terrible prof.. only 2 people (out of 40) passed his class. do not waste ur time, energy, or money. |

Caution the handouts. They were all at least 10 years old. 30 students at the beginning of the semester, <10 taking the final and even less than that getting a C or better. |

Prof Afifi is a difficult prof. but he is willing to help. He gives a lot of extra credit and curves the exam. Everyone was telling me not to take him because hes bad, but I think he changed. He's always there when you need help. |

Probably the difficulexam teacher I have ever had to deal with. Most stressful class in my life. Even though I have 4.0 GPA and I did get an A in his class as well, there were so many people in class I considered intelligenter and working difficulter than me, who failed after the final or dropped earlier. Take him if you want to study and learn. Otherwise avoid! |

The worst teacher you will ever take in your life. Class is completely sparatic, there is no teaching style. If you don't get the grade on the first exam that you want in the class then drop it!!! You will not do well in his class. |
