HAVE YOU HAD YOUR FLU SHOT?
If so, don't read this!
Flu season is upon us, and it's time to get vaccinated! That is what the pharmaceutical companies would like us to believe. Yet, it seems that every person I know who has had the vaccine has also come down with the flu, while I have remained blissfully unvaccinated, and unscathed. The issue of flu and vaccines in general is one that has deeply impacted my family: my great Grandmother, Carrie Curren, died in Albion, Nebraska in 1918 from the Spanish flu. The truth is that the great 1918 pandemic actually had its origins not Spain, but in the United States in Kansas at the Fort Riley Military Base. While there is still debate over the origins of the 1918 flu, Fort Riley is where the first documented case occurred. The 1918 flu was a strain of the current H1N1, different than the new type, but close enough to raise a red flag because every continent on the globe, including the Arctic Eskimos, had members who died as a result of the 1918 H1N1. Then there is the issue of my cousin Janet's vaccine.
My cousin, Janet will never be the same as the result of an MMR (Mumps Measles and Rubella) shot she received in 1969. My cousin was the clever, beautiful, bouncy cousin that I always looked forward to playing with at family gatherings. Now, she is immobilized in a wheel chair, forced to wear a "hat" (that more closely resembles a crash helmet) and lives in "Group Home" - an assisted living center. Now, for some hard facts from Dr. Len Horowitz, whose book " Emerging viruses: AIDS and Ebola : Nature, Accident, or Intentional?" was released in 1999 by Sandpoint, ID: Tetrahedron.
Horowitz said that the swine-bird-human flu strain, (reportedly first found in Mexico late in March 2009) could have only come from vaccine manufacturer, Novavax Inc. under the direction of Dr James S. Robertson and his colleagues in association with the US Centre for Disease Control, all of whom profit from vaccine sales, he says. Profit was the motivation to take H5N1 Asian-flu infected chickens, bring them to Europe, extract DNA from them, then mixes these proteins with H1N1 viruses from the 1918 Spanish flu isolate, additionally mixing in some swine-flu genes from pigs, then reverse engineers them to infect humans, he said.
There is also Dr. Teresa Focades, who in a series of six YouTube videos, charges that The swine-flu "pandemic," is exaggerated. She believes that the vaccination is more dangerous than the flu alone. One of the warning signs of the flu vaccine to her is an additive or "adjuvant" called squalene, which apparently caused a lot of sickness in soldiers during the first Gulf War. The vaccine also contains formaldehyde and/or a compound called thimerosal (that has mercury in it.) Many people claim that allergies and autism in children have resulted from use of these vaccines. Thus far, pointed out Dr. Forcades, swine flu has a lower mortality than regular seasonal flu, and the questions she raised: "Why, if it has a low mortality rate, has it been declared such an "emergency"? Why has there been the rush to protect the public with an untested vaccine?" And why, she asks in the video, did H1N1 disappear in the 1950s (after wreaking havoc in 1918, the last major pandemic, when it was a more lethal strain,) only to reappear in 1977 - when, she said, it was "resynthesized"? There have been "irregularities," she felt, in the whole new flu "crisis."
Dr. Focades implies a sinister plot to reduce world population. She noted that the Austrian affiliate of one U.S. pharmaceutical firm, Baxter International Inc., sent a vaccine tainted by lethal bird flu virus to several laboratories in Europe. Therefore, there were two viruses in one vaccine that were not irradiated to reduce potency, per the normal protocol. A Czechoslovakian researcher discovered this when he tested the vaccine on rodents and all the lab animals died. While the seasonal flu can spread quickly, it is seldom lethal, as is the case with H5N1 (aka the bird flu) while it is slow in transmission, it is lethal in sixty percent of people it infects. According to Wayne Madsen, an investigative journalist, "Even scientists who helped develop the vaccine say they are not going to take it and urge their friends and family not to take it either."
My blood recently ran cold when my pregnant friend told me with nonchalance how she had been vaccinated. The controversial vaccine accomplishes many goals. Not only does it raise profits for the manufacturer, but it also helps to cull the human population of our overwhelmed planet. I understand the need for some vaccines, notably polio and tetanus, but on the whole, I feel our country is over-vaccinated. The over-vaccination of our citizens is well-illustrated by the experience my children had with the now-mandatory chicken pox vaccine. They got vaccinated, and two weeks later were infected with chicken pox, something I never had as a child. It was a dreadful experience, akin to being stricken with the modern-day plague. Although my older son had the lightest dusting of chicken pox by comparison (never having had the vaccine,) it was one of the rare times his biological dad came to spend time with him while I worked. He actually cherishes the memories of his days of chicken pox, and is appalled by the vaccine.
My cousin Janet will never get married or have children as she longs to do. I can't tell you how many times I have heard my cousin her say "I wish I'd had the mumps instead." I had the mumps. Sure, it was a miserable experience, having my glands under my jaw swollen like a chipmunk storing nuts for the winter, however, I got to stay home from school, read and eat lots of ice cream. It really wasn't so bad. As far as I'm concerned, the best vaccination for the flu is some homemade chicken soup, TLC and plenty of rest. Some things just can't be injected by a needle.

Another riveting perspective is that of Teresa Forcades, Doctor of
Public Health in Barcelona, Spain, whose series of videos was so captivating, I watched all six of them. The first can be found at:
