Nocturnal All Hallow's Eve Ball (feat. DJ Scary Lady Sarah)

North Halsted Street Halloween Parade
When: October 31, 4 p.m. Costume contest registration, 6 p.m. Parade begins
Where: 3190 N. Halsted St.
Price: Free
What: Miss Foozie emcees the 14th annual parade, featuring a "Little Street of Horrors" theme. The parade advances north on Halsted Street from Belmont Avenue to Addison Street. Register at Spin from 4pm-6 p.m. to participate in a costume contest (pets are welcome) for the chance to win prizes. Compete for $500 cash in a costume contest (10 p.m.).
Social Disturbance: A Haunted House
When: October 29, 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.
October 30, 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.
October 31, 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Where: 2229 S. Halsted St.
Price: $2; $1 for kids
What: The 2,000 square foot facility transforms into a performance-based haunted house.
The Clockwork Vaudeville's Carnivale Deliruim
When: October 22, 9 p.m.
Where: Reggie's Rock Club, 2109 S. State St.
Price: $10-$30
What: A Halloween-themed steampunk circus featuring sword swallowing, bed of nails and broken glass acts and other stunts by The Squidling Bros. Circus Sideshow and The Show Devils, fire spinning, marching bands and other circus theatrics by Environmental Encroachment, live music by Hayley Jane and DJ music by Orvtronixx, Joe Vor-tech and Mr. Automatic.
Chronicles of the Cursed: The Sinkhole
When: October 28, 7 p.m. - 11 p.m.

Where: 560 W. Grand Ave.
Price: $15, $35 VIP includes express entry
What: The Tribune-owned space is transformed into an ominous negative space, where disembodied spirits and monsters lurk and pets and teens are said to have disappeared.
Trails of Terror

What: Wander through nearly half a mile of wooded trails in the park, dressed up in the fashion of a seaside town, where creepy characters infest a wharf and haunted fishing boats. Not suitable for young children.

When: October 29, 7 p.m. - 2 a.m. Killer Country Night
October 30, 7 p.m. - 3 a.m. Costume contest
October 31, 7 p.m. - 3 a.m. Sc-hair War
Where: 2833 N. Sheffield Ave.
What: The party bar spent a cool $10,000 on its Terror Island three themed decor. Check it out all month, but circle back on Halloween weekend for three themed parties: Killer Country Night; $500 costume contest and Sc-hair War, a salon competition of style recreations from Tim Burton films.
