We were honored that he chose to spend part of his time briefly visiting with us on campus. NEIU music department granted NASMA Accreditation

NEIU music department granted NASMA Accreditation
On Nov. 22, the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM) commission voted to grant NEIU's music department accreditation. The NASM is a national accrediting agency for music schools and programs with high criterions.  Prior to granting accreditation to a school, NASM investigates that certain institution to ensure that the institution is providing quality education as well as to see if that school is honest.… Post the First Comment

The College of Arts and Sciences received a donation from the Sidwell Company on Feb. 1 to commemorate friendly relationships between the company and our school. The Sidewell Company has been providing overhead pictures of geologic and urban sites to NEIU's Aerial Photography Interpretation class for several years now, and in return NEIU has provided Sidwell with qualified students ready to benefit the field of aerial photography.… Post the First Comment

WZRD hosted a benefit concert for Haiti in the school cafeteria on Thursday Jan. 28. The concert was the brainchild of WZRD members Michael Robin and Avi Steinberg, the former presented at the concert.
