The glass display of a snack vending machine located in the basement lounge of the Student Union was discovered shattered shortly after 10p.m. on August 30, 2012. There were no eyewitnesses, but nearby students described hearing a loud crash around 9p.m. Campus Security officers were called to the scene and took inventory of the remaining snacks shortly after the initial discovery. There are currently no suspects, and it is unclear if theft was the motive.
