Stage Center announces casts for upcoming productions

If you know these people, or have class with them, tell them congratulations. If you see them pacing the hallways, talking to themselves, you’ll know why! Come and support your classmates at these Stage Center Shows.

All shows start at 7:30 and admission is FREE with your NEIU ID.

Private Eyes by Steven Dietz Feb. 14-16, 21-23, 28-March 1.

Bill McIntosh (Director): This is Bill’s fourth time directing at NEIU. His previous credits in this capacity include Proof (spring 2007) and Picasso at the Lapin Agile (spring 2006). He also acted in last summer’s The Lady’s Not for Burning, The Game of Love and Chance (spring 2004) and Scapino (fall 1999). His day job is at Morgan Stanley.

Tom Camacho (Matthew): Tom graduated from Columbia, and is a graduate student in Communications, Media and Theatre at NEIU. He recently was seen in last semester’s Stage Center production of Mrs. Warren’s Profession. Tom works at Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago doing education outreach and development.

Heather Irwin (Lisa): Heather graduated from the University of Pittsburgh where she studied Theatre and English. She was in the Thymely Theatre production of The Lady’s Not For Burning here at NEIU during the summer of 2007. She is currently the associate manager of patron services for the Chicago Humanities Festival.

Andrew Berlien (Adrian): Andrew went to school at NEIU during 2003-4 where he studied Theatre and English. He has performed at Stage Center in The Real Inspector Hound (Fall 2004) and Lend Me a Tenor (Fall 2003). He currently is a copy editor at shoplocal.com

Caitlin Costello (Cory) and Jim Farrell (Frank) round out the cast, but were unfortunately unavailable for statements at press time.
