Wild Hogs a must-see

This film is about four, normal, middle-aged men, who realize their lives are going nowhere but downhill. Doug (Tim Allen) is a dentist who’s son thinks he is boring and dull, Woody (John Travolta) is a rich man gone broke when his supermodel wife divorces him, Bobby (Martin Lawrence) is a man being dominated by his sassy wife, and Dudley (William H. Macy) is a nerdy computer programmer who cannot get up the courage to talk to women.

What these best friends have in common is they all love to ride motorcycles, and they ride together everyday in a group they call the Wild Hogs. They all agree that what they need in their lives is male bonding, and go on a cross-country road trip.

Along the way they end up encountering a real group of bikers called the Del Fuegos who only aim to cause trouble. They end up upsetting the gang’s leader Jack (Ray Liotta), and accidentally blow up their gas station/bar and are now being stalked by them.

This seemed to be another goofy movie where a couple of friends get into more trouble then they can handle, and that is exactly what it is. Followed by believable characters and an understandable, though maybe a bit reckless plot, the humor alone makes it worth seeing.

The whole movie is just the four getting into a bunch of “victim of circumstance” situations, such as skinny-dipping in a small lake when a family of three young children decides to join in the fun. The movie is pretty straight forward, with a few bumps. Definitely a must see!
