El Centro remains closed until the start of Fall as a result of the flooding that occurred on June 26.
“Sewage from the bathrooms were where the damage from the rain came from,” said Lopez. Students and faculty were all contacted by phone to move to the Main Campus. Daniel Lopez director of El Centro moved classes from El Centro to the Main Campus.
The cleaning crews, according to Lopez, have already cleaned out the water. “But, they still need to clean the debris and then sanitize everything,” Lopez added.
