Garlic Mashed Potatoes Inspired By Butter

 

2lbs Potatoes [can be any type, I use half red skin and half Yukon gold]

1 tsp Salt

6oz  Milk

4oz Sour cream

2 tbsp Butter

Pepper to taste

4 Fresh garlic cloves

 

Boil the potatoes in salted water until soft, 15-20 minutes. While the potatoes are cooking, finely chop the garlic and cook in some butter on medium heat in a pan. Once the potatoes are soft enough to easily pierce with a fork, and the garlic is almost browned, combine the potatoes, garlic, sour cream, butter, salt and pepper in a bowl. Mix well and enjoy.
