Don’t you wish things like this happened to all of us?   4. “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button:” A man in love ages backward but the girl he loves does not. She ended up nursing and raising him, now an old infant dies in her arms. We all want to die in our lover’s arms right?   3. “American Beauty:” A desperate, frustrated husband became obsessed with his daughter’s girlfriend and ends up killing himself for her, happily wondering that ‘there’s so much beauty in the world’, ‘if you look closer’.   2. “Dracula:” Vlad found peace after getting killed by his lover’s reincarnation, and ascend to heaven with Elisabeta instead of hell.   1. “Casablanca:” He let her go with her husband and finally realize the, “beginning of a beautiful friendship.”

By Theresa Celmer Life Editor   5.    Ross Geller & Rachel Green – ” Friends”: ” It’s always been you Rach.”

4.    Doug Ross & Carol Hathaway – “ER”: ” I’m still in love with him. I am. I’ve been in love with him since I was 23 years old. He’s everything to me. He’s my life. I feel complete when I’m with him and I feel empty when were apart. He’s the father of my children… and he’s my soulmate.”

3.    Chandler Bing & Monica Geller – “Friends”:  ” Chandler, for so long I wondered if I would ever find my prince, my soulmate , then three years ago at another wedding, I turned to a friend for comfort. And instead I found everything that I’d been looking for my whole life. And now here we are with our future before us and I only want to spend it with you, my prince, my soulmate, my friend.”

2.    Kevin Walker & Scotty Wendell – “Brothers & Sisters”: ” I am completely, completely in love with you. I even love the things about you that I hate. Because you make me feel like I don’t have to be anyone other then who I am. And to me that feels like family. And that’s what I want us to be… ”

1.    Jim Halpert & Pam Beesly – “The Office”: ” I bought the boat tickets the day I saw that youtube video. I knew we’d need a back up plan. The boat was actually plan C. The church was plan B. And plan A was marrying her a long, long time ago. Pretty much the day I met her.”

By Ivan Favelevic Arts Editor   5. “Pretty Woman:” A classic Cinderella story told in a modern day context. This film can really teach you not to judge a book by its cover.

4. “Wall-E:” Anyone who has been in love can identify with Wall-E’s struggling efforts to get Eve to fall for him, and this is done with the characters barely speaking a word.

3. “When Harry Met Sally:” This movie makes me fall more in love with New York than anything else. A timeless classic that shows how sometimes the things we hate are the ones we cherish the most.

2. “Princess Bride:” Another hopeless romantic tale. This tongue in cheek parody of a romantic movie actually comes off as being really good.

1. “Love Actually:” Probably the best romantic comedy ever made in my opinion. Mixes the right amount of comedy with the right amount of romance and presents some of the most believable couples in movie history.
