What do you think about the basketball team?
I think it’s great. It’s great for student life, we had a great time today. We’re all happy to be here, they all work so hard. I think it’s good for the future of NEIU.
They used to have a team before right?
Yeah, back before when I was a student here. And now they have it back, I’m here for their support. One of the guys here is from the student government and we’re going to try to work with them as much as possible with the administration so we can make this happen to give some sense of pride. It was great to see them and have other schools over here and it’s awesome. It’s a great feeling.
How do you think we could gather more people for the games?
Actually, I think it will be worthwhile, but it’s going to take a lot of time and effort, and I know we have a dedicated group of individuals. This is what we’re here to do. I think we can all agree that this is good for student life. No matter what it’s going to take, we’re all here to support. It’s not going to be easy, but I think if we get united again as a university, we can definitely do it.
