Campus Clubbing

The opportunity to interact with other students seems fairly limited at NEIU. Unlike our neighboring universities in Chicago, there are no dorms, no bars, and no pool halls to make friends at.

But instead, like a diamond in the rough, little NEIU is home to many student clubs and organizations, including everything from Anime to Anthropos, Black Caucus to Business and Management, Chimexla to Sigma Thea Omega. Religious clubs, political clubs, media clubs – you name it, we’ve got it.

It’s okay to be nervous when starting something new. You wouldn’t be human if you weren’t but don’t let your experience here at NEIU be boring. You get out of it what you put in.

If you are interested in contacting a club, you can go to the Student Activities Office in SU-207, e-mail the department at student-activities@neiu.edu, or call them at 773-442-4660, or dial 4660 from any campus phone.

Clubs will also be represented at the Student Organization Fair in Village Square. The two-day fair is in the first month of each semester.

The following is a complete update list of chartered and active student groups you can join on campus, or start a club of your own.
