-On Oct. 9, 68 pieces of electronics equipment were discovered missing during an annual audit in the Carruther Center for Inner City Studies. This case is still under investigation.

-On Oct. 9, an unknown offender stole art pieces that were on display in the Fine Arts hallway. This case is under investigation.

-On Oct. 15, an unknown offender stole two art pieces that were on display in the Fine Arts hallway. This case is still under investigation.

-On Oct. 17, an unknown offender stole a victim's wallet in the B Building. This case has been administratively closed.

-On Oct. 17, a person was observed cutting bins with a razor in the Science Building. The razor was confiscated, and the offender was let off with a warning. This case is still open

-On Oct. 20, an unknown offender stole a victim's cell phone from her purse after it was left unattended in the Student Union Village Square. This case has been administratively closed.

-On Oct. 21, an unknown offender cashed fraudulent NEIU checks in the Controller's office. This case is under investigation.

-On Oct. 25, an unknown offender attempted to cash a fraudulent NEIU check in the Controller's office. This case is still under investigation.

-On Oct. 29, an unknown offender stole a victim's pouch containing keys and other belongings from the Carruther's Center for Inner City Studies. This case is administratively closed.

-On Oct. 29, a female offender hit a victim with her water bottle and broke the victim's cell phone in the C-Parking Lot. This case is administratively closed.
